I started out in dentistry as a part time office clerk and then moved into the back as a dental assistant. I obtained my CDA certificate in 1981 and went to Harcum College in 1985 to acquire my EFDA (expanded functions dental assistant) certification. I enjoyed the increased diversity of procedures I could assist with, I enjoyed placing fillings and crafting temporary crowns. In 1990 I was offered a scholarship to Harcum’s new dental hygiene program, of course I jumped at the chance to diversify my dental talents even more. I received my dental hygiene degree in 1992. I have been working at Collegeville Dental since November 2000. I enjoy the cyclical interaction with all the individuals who make up a dental practice.
In my spare time I enjoy raising my goats, chickens and turkeys. I also enjoy singing and listening to live music.
